My new webpage!

My Webpage:

With a little help from OSWD, I have put up a decent webpage (in my opinion). I’ve edited the katana image some as well, but when I viewed it at work it looked all crappy. (Anyone who uses Internet Explorer, just don’t go… get a real browser and check it then. 🙂 I should just take out the transparency and make the background all black. Meh. Thanks to Shippo, this is no longer a problem. I still suggest getting a real browser though. 🙂

Anyway, only the main page and my resume works atm. I’m still building the rest. Let me know what you think though. I would hate to spend a lot of time building pages to find out they suck. 🙂 Also, suggestions for sub-pages would be nice too.

Current plans:
I have two pages currently in the works.

  • Favorite Links – This will contain links to favorite webpages, comics, etc. Edit: Created main page Sept 18, 2007, however, still need to add links.
  • Programming – This will contain some personal programming projects I’ve worked on. It’ll allow people to download whole projects or view files online with syntax highlighting. This is mainly to give possible employers an idea of my skill in C++. Edit: Complete as of Sept 16, 2007.

Possible ideas:

  • Make the “Current news” dynamically update based on my journal rss feed.
  • Add my google calendar so people can see what I’m doing (if anyone cares)
  • Possibly a place to put my poetry/rants that I think were well done
  • A linux page. I have my HP Pavilion zd8000 setup really nicely with gentoo linux. Even the little remote control works on it. I might post my config files and a quick howto explaining to others how to configure everything to work.
  • Make a Japanese version.
