For those security people out there… Livejournal is offering a hacking challenge.

Basically, you find a XSS hole (will explain later for the rest of you..) you get a perm account!

So, start hacking. You can see my progress (zero) here.

Now, if your curious what XSS is… it stands for Cross Site Scripting… Basically it’s being able to call scripts written on a different page with the rights of the original page. You can do things like stealing passwords, usernames, or any information like that. Can be pretty nasty.
